Those who watched, your thoughts on the female character who was espousing "Columbus genocide, native genocide " theories in her classroom. I turned it off after that. Was I to harsh? Should I give it more time?
It's standard practice these days. Never mind that the natives were genociding each other for centuries before Columbus sailed.
FTR, here is the Wiki premise
Quote:
Follows the powerful McLusky family, power brokers in Kingstown, Michigan, where the business of incarceration is the only thriving industry. Tackling themes of systemic racism, corruption and inequality, the series provides a stark look at their attempt to bring order and justice to a town that has neither.
It was entertaining after that still. You just have to determine if you can handle Hollywood wokespeak for the sake of entertainment. Sometime I can. Sometimes I can't. Depends on how good the content is.
FTR, Wind River, Sicario, and Hell or High Water from Sheridan dealt with some political issues that I probably don't agree with (definitely not Wind River though, completely legit issue, either side of the political aisle) Sheridan's views on.
