To this day, Bat Out Of Hell sits in the top 10 all time for record sales.

Jim Steinman could write them and Meat Loaf could sing them. He had an amazing vocal range.

Meatloaf's real name was Michal Aday... he lived outside of Austin just off Hamilton Pool Road.

I had some dealings with him 4-5 years ago... one of the strangest people I ever me & I can only assume he had some pretty bad mental issues from the irrational way he acted. His house was a virtual compound, high walls & a huge gate (inside an already gated community no less).

Great singer, but as the case with many celebrities, off stage they are absolute train wrecks.

I mean his struggle with addiction and depression is pretty well chronicled as well as his dysfunctional up-bringing. His dad was a drunk that literally tried to murder Meat Loaf when he was like 16 or something. Definitely would mess anyone up and i could see why he'd want to build walls around his house. Dude's life was anything but secure as a kid.

She has sold between her solo career and Destiny's Child over 170 million albums.

Her solo career alone has sold more than George Strait.

That map only looks at US album sales through 2017. Beyonce had only sold 15 million units in US at that time. That over 100 million number is for world wide sales.
