Deadline has a piece today about what movie & TV show spots to expect for the Super Bowl in a week and a half. Though, their list is mostly speculation (marked as "likely" below, but will update as we get closer), since not everything has been confirmed yet, and there's only one movie they list that we haven't already seen footage for. Since there's almost always at least a couple movies that debut footage for the first time, I figured I'd lay it all out here and then give a couple of my hopes/guesses as well...
NETFLIX
Likely
- The Adam Project (sci-fi, Ryan Reynold's next)
PARAMOUNT
Likely
- The Lost City (Sandra Bullock)
- Sonic the Hedgehog 2
- Top Gun: Maverick
UNIVERSAL
Likely
- Jurassic World: Dominion
- Minions: The Rise of Gru
- Nope (Jordan Peele's next)
WALT DISNEY
Likely
- Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness
- Lightyear
- Moon Knight
Since Warner Bros, Sony, Apple, and Hulu will all be sitting out this year's Super Bowl (as a couple of them usually do), looking at the calendar, the only other surprises I could see happening would be spots for Disney+'s Obi-Wan Kenobi or Marvel's Thor: Love and Thunder. But the three spots listed as part of Disney's current lineup likely get priority, so it would take them having bought a fourth spot to pull off either of the additional spots.
All-in-all, it's not looking like a particularly great year for new spots, but with a surprise or two it very well could be. We shall see...

A majority of studios withheld their theatrical movie trailers from last year’s #SuperBowl as cinemas in L.A. & New York City remained closed. While the good news is that they’re back this year, we’re not hearing about any massive head-turning stunts https://t.co/IrSxD2nAoE
