I do admit, I expected the Obi-Wan spot by now, if one actually exists. That, and we've had three Disney spots already (Strange, Moon Knight, and Disney+), though one was technically pregame. I feel like in the past all the best movie spots debuted in the first half, but I can think of a couple big ones that debuted in the second half. In other words, still hopeful, but not quite as much as I was. We'll see…

In the past I recall seeing some big movie trailer/reveals during the 3rd quarter commercials.

If we get to the 4th quarter and haven't seen it then I think it's not happening.

I'm pretty sure I remember spots for Transformers: Dark of the Moon and Mission: Impossible - Fallout airing in the third quarter. But yeah, regardless, if we don't get it this quarter, we're not getting it.

Interesting that the last few years, at least for me, the better commercials have been later in the game. Wonder if the cost for early spots offsets the larger budgets for the later ones?

It's been a great game so far, in my "home" town, with the local team, some pretty fun spots, and an all-time awesome halftime show. But yeah, this is the first Super Bowl that has made feel old as sh*t.
