I was hoping they wouldn't stick with black and white. That they would use the excuse that "time caught up" or something to make it color. I hope that does happen for 3 more episodes.

I tend to agree. If that cab driver hadn't been introduced in a prior season, this episode wouldn't have been necessary.
And the whole "I'll handle it myself" thing is done now too. Unless that guy comes back into play at some point.
Feel like that might have been the most boring hour of television I've ever watched in my entire life. Must have been even less entertaining for non college football fans.

Yeah...after the last 3 episodes of fantastic television, this one was a bummer.

I feel like Carol Burnett's character is bound to notice the merchandise somehow, and then **** hits the fan.
I absolutely loved it. Great heist sequence, for a movie or TV show. Gene/Jimmy uses a concern of being noticed to help him scratch the itch to get back into scamming.. He is alive when he's nervous of getting caught but also proud of his work. Walking into the scene of the crime to confirm everything is moving on as he hoped was great.
I could see basically any ending possible, including one where Jimmy ends up in jail and that's that.

lol, I said earlier today it would be a slow episode and that people would complain. That's how this show works, new scenery, new set up. It always pays off later.
The whole point here was to set Jimmy up for failure, he wants his old life back after that heist. He will now do something dumb and we will have a frantic last few episodes, though next week likely won't be rip roaring yet.it will be the nervous "almost there" episode probably.

Yep. I honestly wanted to fast forward the actual heist because of the tension after the dude hit the deck. Loved feeling that.

See my post from a page or 2 ago. For the BB fan crowd who struggled to understand this show in its infancy (and it was A TON of viewers) until Mike, Gus and the boys got involved, last week was your ending.
For the people who loved BCS from the jump as a different show examining different subject matter in the same universe, this is our ending. But view it from a BB frame of mind as an epilogue.

Got a kick out of the college football nuggets. Also noticed the "Lee lifts Rangers past Rays" on the front page of the sports section that Gene was brushing up on.
Jeeezus. 4 episodes left and this is how they decide to use one of them? Like others here, I had "The Fly" running through my head the longer the episode went on. Waste of an hour. Did nothing to advance the whole story other than showing Gene still has the essence of Saul in him. But are we really surprised about that?
