Saul may have been gone long enough for his house to be foreclosed on
True. As a banker I can't believe I let that possibility elude me.
Foreclosures move pretty fast in NM too, maybe 4-6 months. Then again, there's no timeline on when that actually happened so how long that would take is irrelevant.
I went back and rewatched this weekend and you are right that there are no Fed/DEA/PD jackets. It's only movers, which makes it much more unclear than I previously thought, though I still think it's some type of federal agency who hired the movers to clear out the house.
Probably overanalyzing a scene that might have just been there to show what Saul had become, and that it was all being dismantled - but maybe it has more significance. They were all wearing uniforms, they had clipboards they were cataloging items on, and they hired civilian towing and waste disposal companies. I worked for a moving company in college and what really struck me was the sheer number of people they had on site, it looked like 20-30 people working to move everything out and they looked way more professional than the average mover I worked with.
I know the gold toilet was funny, as was the viagra and mioxidil, but my favorite was seeing Saul's escape room with the portable toilet and bullet proof vest.
