I am predicting Abe finds out that she is working a burlesque show when his coworkers take him there.
I wore a cape to a black tie halloween party this year. Was awesome, IMO. Drank a little and managed to close the uber car door on my cape, leaving half of it hanging out of the car on the way home. It somehow got under the tire and got ran over. Scared the **** out of me and ruined my cape. Guess that ties into s4 episode 1 also....Duncan Idaho said:

Suzie at Jackie's funeral got me. Especially knowing that emotion was real and not just acting.
I agree with all of this. I'm unsure how anyone could miss Jackie - the back and forth with he and Susie in S1 was fantastic.CharlieBrown17 said:
As weird as it is to say, Jackie was probably my favorite character in the whole damn show.
Definitely favorite outside of the main 4 or 5.
They built such a great depth in a background character one line at time.
His interaction about fixing chairs at the gaslight in season 2 (I think) where Susie reminds him he used to be a carpenter always kills me
Haven't watched the final yet. But it's hard to watch a character keep making the same mistake and not learn anything or grow. She made the same mistake of putting her foot in her mouth on stage with Jakie O, Shy, Joel, her friend's wedding, her parents, and her brother. Good thing her kids haven't been impacted yet.TCTTS said:
Watching episode eight later tonight, but I just found the hypnotism to be so hacky and forced, and then the Kennedy thing stretched all believability for me. A stripper hooks Midge up with a gig performing for Jackie O? Really? And then Midge makes Jackie O cry? Played by an actress who looks nothing like the real Jackie O?
Even when this show feels like it's treading water, each individual scene is often so well done that I don't care. I love these characters so much, I just enjoy being with them no matter what they're doing. But those two sequences were the first time I think I've ever truly cringed during this entire series.
It's that, combined with the fact that I just finished the penultimate episode of the third season and nothing feels like it's leading anywhere. There's so much potential for Midge's career, and the places she can go and the things she can do, for the life of me I can't figure out why the filmmakers still have her performing at a strip club still trying to get booked literally anywhere else. I figured this rut would last two or three episodes, max.
Just hoping that'll finally get worked out in episode eight eight...
