I'm sorry. John Wayne and Dean Martin were the superhero mashups of their timeEclipseAg said:
Godfather and Godfather II are both awesome. They'll make me stop scrolling through channels and watch.
I love Tombstone. Another favorite. And Rio Bravo.
Guilty pleasures? Smokey and the Bandit and Caddyshack.
I know I'm in a tiny minority, but I don't like superhero movies or anything Star Wars related.

2001: A Space Odyssey, with The Third Man close behind.
Ha! Yes, I suppose so. But they didn't wear capes or have super powers. Other than being incredibly cool.wangus12 said:I'm sorry. John Wayne and Dean Martin were the superhero mashups of their timeEclipseAg said:

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. Incredible music score, cinematography, and acting on a relatively small budget. Saw it when I was seventeen, and have yet to see a movie I liked more. The other two in the trilogy (A Fistful of Dollars, and A Few Dollars More) were close behind.
Have you read the book? I listened to it on audible and I really enjoyed it.JCRiley09 said:
I teach problem solving for a living so I've loved The Martian since the day it was released

Return of the King
Right there with you. I was never able to read the books when I was a youngster, but I had a general idea of what they were about. Even so, TFOTR just blew me away with the world-building that Peter Jackson did. That movie drew me in immediately in much the same way that the opening shot of Star Wars did. It is my favorite of all the Middle Earth movies (but not to knock TTT or ROTK, as both were amazing in their own right).Madmarttigan said:KidDoc said:

Strangely enough I think I have the most appreciation for fellowship of the ring. I was just completely blown away by it when it came out and whenever I do a rewatch of it it is just amazingly well done. It doesn't have all of the epic battles of the other two but might actually be my favorite.
