I'm rewatching Breaking Bad now and Skyler is awesome. She's unlikeable if you think Walt is a hero, but he's a real a-hole. The way she sees through his weak BS is so great. Fugue state!

I thought Skylar was way too quick to decide Walt was a complete scumbag, so while you're watching it the first time you already dislike her before you realize that she's right, and it's hard to shake.

There's two ways to answer this. There's dislikable because the character is portly written and acted, but there's also characters that were written to be hated and were well written and acted. I think Skylar is the latter.

Well, yeah, he's the bad guy. Monica is supposed to be Casey's wife that we relate to as someone that just wants to live in peace. But my wife and I are really hoping she gets killed off at some point soon. She's that cliche nagging wife that writers insert just to create some tension.
