Jim Carey.

That guy is bonkers.
He definitely thinks differently, but I don't think he's lost his mind. At least, his comments about Hollywood and Will Smith were spot on.
I saw that on another thread so it sounds like he may have come back to reality some lately.

Was Mel Gibson really wrong though?!
The funny thing about Mel Gibson is that everybody forgets why he was even stopped by the cops in the first place.

He was doing 88 in a 55 on PCH in Malibu.

If he was driving normal speeds, we'd never know.
I've driven that stretch, as I assume you have as well, and it's a somewhat stressful drive going the speed limit. I can't imagine driving through there at 88. That's pretty insane.

I was 10 and 2 anytime I drove in Malibu.

(We stayed in Malibu for our legendary loss at UCLA.)

His paintings are the work of a lunatic. There is a reason his only big movie in the past 10 years is Sonic the Hedgehog.

I can absolutely see why, but not for that. He shot kickass 2, then a week before the movie came out he told a bunch of different people that you shouldn't go see it or you were supporting gun violence. Just a ****ty thing to do to everyone else on the set depending on box office sales.

Not that Kickass 2 was ever going to be a blockbuster success of course.

I only posted about Puddle of Mudd because Wes Scantlin's meltdown that finished that tour happened in College Station.

I figure somebody must have seen it first hand.

This thread had some potential. I'd like to read more of this:

Quote:

In a 2015 interview with Rolling Stone, [Terrence] Howard explained that he had formulated his own language of logic, which he called Terryology, and which he was keeping secret until he had patented it. This logic language would be used to prove his contention that "1 1 = 2".

"How can it equal one?" he said. "If one times one equals one that means that two is of no value because one times itself has no effect. One times one equals two because the square root of four is two, so what's the square root of two? Should be one, but we're told it's two, and that cannot be."

And less of you dip****s getting upset about celebrities who don't agree with your political views.

Will be interesting to see if DC continues to stick with Ezra as the Flash. This isn't the first time something like this has happened...feels like some anger management therapy needs to be in their future

Although her celebrity days are behind her, Victoria Jackson belongs on this list.

From what I have read, Brad Pitt was a full time stoner for most of his life, and has actually become less insane in recent years. His involvement in affordable housing issues is real and committed. Dumping Jennifer Aniston for a lunatic like Angelina Jolie was pretty nuts, though. Jolie's lunacy is hereditary, but Pitt was probably just high.

Will Smith did not go nuts. He's just an a-hole. That's been obvious for years.

People like to dump on Hollywood, but honestly, there are far more elected officials than celebrities who are effing nuts. That line is blurred a bit by the celebrities who become elected officials, because that takes the insanity to a whole other level.

So basically celebs are just as weird/crazy as the rest of us, it's just out there for everyone to digest. Us "normal" people live our lives and hardly anyone outside our circle notices our craziness.

Also, a lot of them are good at what they do so we pay to see them which somehow makes their craziness our business.

It hasn't at all. In fact he was one of the few universally liked celebrities until Sunday, as far as I can tell.

Probably just Duncan's dislike for dispensational theology which Cameron and a lot of TV Christians hold. I dont think its valid either. But arguments among Christians about correct eschatology isnt a reason to dislike someone of faith.

Gary Busey is upset that y'all forgot him

Didnt he have an accident that damaged his brain though.
Yeah, motorcycle IIRC
Wow, completely missed that. Motorcycle accident in 1988 resulting in fractured skull

This was an incredibly ironic accident.

California had enacted mandatory motorcycle helmet laws (Texas had them then as well).

Busey was a HUGE opponent of mandatory helmet laws. Made a lot of fuss about it in the press.

He then has a nearly fatal motorcycle wreck. Bashes his head into a curb if I recall correctly.

Does it change his mind on helmet laws?

Nope. He was still against it.

I don't think a normal person can go to Hollywood, witness the constant depravity that goes on, deal with the insanely evil people who run the industry and stay sane. I certainly think all the manufactured celebrities who started as young children in the sick Disney system ever had a chance to be normal.
