Does Scott Grimes have a contact to sing in every episode?

Kind of surprised Seth hasn't done a number.

Was kind of procrastinating watching this because I had to rewatch the end of season two to remember what happened, but this show continuously surprises me with the philosophical and ethical discussions it brings up. It's kind of like black mirror but far less depressing.

It was a little heavy on the Moclan storylines this season and I think the whole Krill/human child thing was a little silly that it happened so easily.

Seems like Hulu gave them more money to work with even because things got really large scale in the big confrontation and these episodes were all like mini movies with a lot of good storylines. Hope it is renewed, I never really got into Star Trek because it takes itself too seriously but I really enjoy this.

Also for anyone new to it they put this on Disney + recently in addition to Hulu

I don't know how I missed this until now but the wife and I have been watching the first two seasons the last couple of weeks and are now about halfway through the third. Huge fans, what a great series…highly recommended!

The only thing I remember about seasons 1 and 2 is that I didn't enjoy them much, and I thought Seth MacFarlane's acting sucked and was further hamstrung in my mind b/c I kept hearing Brian from Family Guy.

So, I'm not sure why, but I REALLY enjoyed season 3, especially beginning around episode 4 or 5. Was this the best season yet, or do I need to rewatch seasons 1 & 2?

MacFarlane has improved somewhat, but not enough for me to stop wishing he would stick to writing.
