Just finished the Season 3 premiere, and wow, that was hardcore. Really deep, and a lot to process for one episode.

I only wish they had done a mini-recap of the first two seasons up front. It has been three years since the end of Season 2. Otherwise, no complaints.

First episode was pretty heavy. The refit reminded me of Star Trek The Motion Picture and the way the subject matter was dealt with was very old school trek in nature. The longer episode format is nice and definitely made this feel more movie like. Looking forward to the rest of the season.

Hopefully this bodes well for how this season is going to go

I will say the Dakeeli is an interesting looking race

I am just so excited this show is back. With the expanse gone, hoping this will hit my itch. Glad to see the old cast back too! I'm so excited for this!

There is moments of humor, but whoa.

That time travel episode was touch to watch. Damn, definitely not a standard "Star Trek" ending.

I bet it did not take long at all. I think I read that she loved them using her song as anthem.

She seems to be really enjoying her 15th renaissance or whatever it is.

I wanted to hear it because it would be such a wholesome mutually admirable call, not because it would have taken any convincing.

Not sure if they ever explained if women Moclans can reproduce, but in the show, it's two dudes that make an egg yes. If a female is born, the government mandates a sex change operation to make them male. There was that one episode about this - and we see a grown female Moclan.

Pretty sure a female being born is extremely rare as a practical matter anyway.

I did like the fight scene towards the end

Nicely choreographed

Bortus is my favorite character without a doubt. He just cracks me up even when he is just talking. Very disappointing ending to the last episode.

I hope this show gets a 4th season. It is the best science fiction in years.

I do like the show, but it wouldn't bother me if that was the finale. That last episode just felt like a natural conclusion for the series. Of course, if they do choose to do a Season 4, I'll be watching. And I'll have time to rewatch Seasons 1 and 2 as I last saw those seasons during their original run on Fox in 2017 and 2019.

If this wasn't the final, I sure hope that wasn't the restart of a relationship with Ed and kelly

This was such a solid season, with honestly the only clunker to me being the Alien style episode which was still fun. Each episode was effectively a movie and Seth really flexed his writing and acting muscles with this. The cast was incredible and really tackled difficult conversations I would not have guessed years ago possible from Family Guy in Space as it was sold. The space battles are up there for me with some of the Stargate space battles which for me is some of the best out there on tv. I am so glad we got this 3rd season.
