Right where I'm at, dude. I can't believe it's Wednesday and no Andor!

So I started watching this. And about halfway through the first episode, it's not terrible. It's not great, but I'll give it a chance.

Not a fan of the horror vibe they're going with on the Gales.

After 2 episodes this show is about as generic and bad as you think it might be, but I have a soft spot for Willow so I will keep watching it.

It doesn't really have any charm or heart like the movie did. Feels pretty hollow and makes me sad Val Kilmer can't act anymore. Then again I haven't watched the movie in a decade.

It was one of the first things I watched when we got D+. I'm sad to say that it did not hold up well and my kids have been very sus of my recommendations for older movies since then. On the other hand they all liked Rocketeer.

It took 2 years to get them to watch candleshoe with me (one of my favorites) and that finally earned some trust back.

Rocketeer. Good one. If only they had done a better job with the male lead like they did with every other person in the cast.

I find it strange that both Willow and Dark Crystal got greenlit for streaming shows.

I haven't watched yet, but I don't think I can stand watching another horse sink in quicksand…

Not only does the horse sink, but they beat it as it sinks.

Well, I only watched the first 10 minutes or so. That's about all you'll really need to see to understand.

Can't speak for the critics, but what bugged me about the first 2 episodes mostly was it didn't have the same feel as the movie.

The villains have a horror vibe instead of evil. The dialogue was horrible. Willow was too slap stick comedy when addressing the Nelwyns.

I'll keep watching without a doubt, but mostly because Willow is my favorite movie and just being in the universe is fun again!

After watching episode 2, I'm out. This is ****ing horrible.

I could get past the super generic chosen one vs faceless bad guy who wants to end the world story, but man the dialogue and acting.

It's either that there are the same writers and directors guiding young actors to act and talk the same way or most young actors go to the same ****ty CW acting school. I'm inclined to blame this on the writers because the ridiculous lumberjack lady in the forest is played by someone who is excellent in Ted Lasso. Every line out of the Boorman character is a lame joke as well.

And an enter sandman cover at the end, really? Feels so out of the blue for what this show seemed like it was trying to be. I guess this show is trying to be hip and funny and just completely missing the mark.

Part my problem is that the show cannot find it's identity. Sometimes it seems bright and light-hearted with corny lines then it goes very dark a la GoT and horror-esque.

I'll keep watching it for now though.

Piling on here. I gave this show a half-hearted chance by having it on in the background while doing other stuff. It went from background noise to annoying distraction by how painfully awful and cheesy and unimaginative the dialogue is. I have seen UIL One-Act plays with better acting performances. Poor Willow. You deserved better.

Finale released today. There was definite good and bad consistently with this show.

I thought the effects during the battle between sorceresses was very well done.

I just don't understand why Elora's hair was sometimes blond, sometimes red.

The last scene was odd and inconsistent with the character shown.

There was a mid-credits scene

I think the finale was pretty good. There were a couple of plot decisions made that I was surprised about and actually happy they did what they did. It was also nice to finally see Airk as the great swordsman he has been hyped up as.

It is not the greatest series ever, but I will watch season two whenever it comes out.

Im 3 episodes in and am actually enjoying it. Understand the dialogue issue but think it's pretty funny. I actually like most of the male characters, and almost none of the female characters.

We'll see if it continues

Just a load of garbage. Those writers should never ever find work again. The story and dialogue was some of the worst I've ever seen.
