I can't imagine what it would be like unable to go through life without a mob following you making selfish demands.TCTTS said:
People like this who wait for celebrities at airports, outsides events, etc are scum of the earth. I've seen way too many of them up close and personal and they're just complete losers and weirdos and hucksters and trash and I wish their behavior could somehow be outlawed. When Tom Hanks, of all people, is yelling curse words at you, you know you've made some bad decisions in life.

One guy looks like he is from the schrute clan. Or at least one of Dwight's friends.
You and I both.TCTTS said:
I would never, ever, ever approach a celebrity, not for a picture, not for an autograph, not even just to talk. Unless we were, like, at the same social function and had a mutual acquaintance or something, but that's it. I've just never understood why anyone thinks it's appropriate to bug them in public and treat them like zoo animals.

Man, yeah, you can totally see that he's just not at all in the mood, but no one gives a sh*t. Screw those people.

My favorite wrestler of all time. I definitely would have bugged that guy for a selfie.gigemags-99 said:
Saw Bill Goldberg at the gas station today and thought about asking him for a picture. He looked like he was in no mood for that and I sure as **** wasn't going to find out.
Yeah he was thinking, why the hell did I buy the diesel.gigemags-99 said:

I think I could take Michael Cera for sure.
I think it depends on factors and level of celebrity.TCTTS said:

Same. I have some pretty high profile patients that I work with and I tell my department that they are to be treated like any other patient that comes through the door. We are medical professionals and not only is it unprofessional, but also a violation of patient rights.
It inevitably happens anyways.
Me neither. Never have. From probably the late 90's to about 2018 I honestly had a crazy habit of running in to celebrities via complete randomness. I just never felt any compunction at all to care. I've told the stories about meeting Sly and another about Bruce Willis on this board. Totally random. And just conversing like normal people. And I have found, they actually do converse like normal people when they're treated like normal people.West Point Aggie said:
Sucks for him and his family…people are pigs generally speaking.
Having said that, I do not get the fascination with celebrity… Movies or sports or singers
