Gorgeous woman who seemed really down to earth and cool. Kind of a mold breaker for blondes.

I hate musicals but Grease is a great movie and should be considered near the top of that genre.

She will be greatly missed.

Also, my brother would kill me for sharing this but when he was around 3-4 he would dress up like ONJ and do her musical numbers. We would all sit in the living room and wait for him to come running out from his bedroom to perform. I forgot all about that until I saw this thread.

LOL.

So tragic. Clearly a major loss of one of the best humans we've known.

I would stare at her album covers Loved loved loved ONJ.

She was the prettiest woman alive back in the 1970s and early '80s.

Such a fantastic talent.

RIP.

I'm with the other guys who said it, but ONJ and Carrie were my first crushes

Grease was one of the very few movies I paid to see more than once in the 70s ... is one of my favorite movies (most of which are iconic WWII-themed flicks).

The moment ONJ took a drag of that cigarette, w/coaching flicked it down, stamped on it then pushed over Trovolta ... awesome.

So after the success of Grease, a Hollywood genius decided to reunite her and Travolta again in a movie called Two of a Kind. It had a decent cast - the two of them, Ernie Hudson, Charles Durning among others.
I didn't hate as a kid, but when I looked it up recently on IMDb it was like a 4.6, which is Freddie got Fingered territory. It must be really awful or just aged terribly, or both. But the theme song from that movie always stuck with me.

Just did Summer Lovin at a Nashville karaoke bar about a week ago. Such a talent and a babe

I only admit this on message boards, but I always thought that was such a cool scene. The guys shuffling down and dancing on the bleachers, the great ONJ and cool JT, the Rizzo kick of Patty Simcox and ONJ off the table, the comb flick, and Danny Zuko pose while holding on the last "Night" that inspired Lin-Manuel Miranda so much that he used it that image for the logo on "Hamilton".

(Of course, that factoid about Hamilton is made up, but I just think of Danny Zuko seeing summer nights anytime I see the Hamilton logo)
Now I can't unsee the Hamilton logo lol

Honestly while I loved ONJ , Kelly Preston was this girl for me years ago. Both women coincidentally major players in the life of John Travolta.

How maddening is it that he had two of the hottest women of their eras in his life and he was gay?
