I am going to recommend something a little heavier

The Mandibles by Lionel Shriver.

It is a dystopian novel set in a future America.

Am I alone in thinking The Martian and Project Hail Mary were great, but Artemis was a kind of a dud?

It's not as good but I wouldn't call it a dud.

Off to be the wizard series was fun but so, so nerdy. I recommended it to a few friends and they all came back saying it was a bit too much for them. I stopped recommending it after that even though I loved it lol

Im going the throw this series out there as a fun sci-fi paranormal read. The Breach Trilogy by Patrick Lee is fun.
