I'm sure this has been covered on this board, but its time to do it again. Let's see your top five football movies.

1. The Replacements. Keanu, a hot cheerleader I've never seen in another movie, and a "We Will Survive" scene. Easy #1 for me.
2. Varsity Blues. A teacher works at a strip club and befriends the football team. There's a whole other movie within the movie right there.
3. Necessary Roughness. Its been years since I've seen it. Old guy comes back to play quarterback and there's a real-life model who kicks, maybe?
4. Remember the Titans. The long-haired quarterback from California and Denzel. Cool.
5. Invincible. Mark Walberg in one of the best slow-motion training scenes about a regular joe playing NFL ball.

For whatever reason, football just hasn't been done well in Hollywood. Despite being my favorite sport, I doubt a single football movie would be in my top 10 sports movies. I watched The Program for the first time in probably 20 years, and it was awful.

I just realized the other day that the kicker in the replacements is Otto Hightower in the new Game of Thrones show and now I'm struggling to take him seriously.

Probably not a popular opinion because it seems like no one but me likes this film but it's one of my favorites. But I admit I am an Oliver Stone fan.

That's a REALLY good football movie! I used to watch a lot of college football movies before each season started, and this was always one of the movies I saved for last.

COME ON, it has Ronald freakin Reagan as the star player!!!
