More than just that too.
He was on at least 4 albums doing backing vocals on various tracks over the years
Katy Lied I1975), The Royal Scam (1976), Aja (1977) and Gaucho (1980).

Everyone knows that.
But little known fact that is Dallas related.... only one time was it played LIVE with Eddie VH doing the solo and I WAS THERE!!!!
1984 on the Jackson's Victory tour they had 3 shows at old Texas Stadium on July 13, 14, and 15.
VH was in town for 3 shows on July 14, 15, and 16 at Reunion Arena. They had played Houston July 10,11,12 but had the 13th off and arrived in Dallas a day ahead of those shows.
Well unknown to everyone they arranged for Eddie to come to the first show and play it live for the only time on July 13. And I was at that show as well as VH on the 15th.
Starts at about 1:16 on this poor quality video.
maybe not as a deep cut as I thought lol.Whos Juan said:
Maynard sings "Not by the hair of my chinny chinny chin" on Green Jello(y)'s Three Little Pigs
really? that seems pretty well known to me, especially to a beatles fan.Agristotle said:
Everyone on this thread knows it but you can rock Beatles fans mind by telling them Clapton played lead on "While my guitar gently weeps". I've had them absolutely refuse to believe it until confronted with proof

This is a joke, right?AgRyan04 said:
I'm assuming that since this hasn't been added yet it is because everyone does know this, but it needs to
be on here just for the sake of completeness....Clapton played the guitar on the Beatles legendary track, "While my Guitar Gently Weeps"

Robert Fripp (and Tony Levin, Brian Eno, and Phil Collins) played on Daryl Hall's first solo album, Sacred Songs. Fripp also produced it. Learned that on Live From Daryl's House.
Literally three posts above.AgRyan04 said:

I tried to count all the songs I know of that Michael McDonald sings backup on, but I'm a liberal arts major. I can't count that high.

This just blew my mind. Also seems like something I should have known.Stat Monitor Repairman said:

I'm still amazed that Allison Krauss sings on two songs on the new Def Leppard album.
