Having said that, I do find it ironic that four self-professed communists, who literally got to live out their dream of playing music for a living, still couldn't get along and broke up. If communism doesn't work when it's only 4 like-minded guys who all get to be rock stars, I'm thinking there's not much hope for it.

Morello has never shied away from his father's side of the family and who they are. You're not breaking any news stories to anyone who actually follows the band. And I've never heard of these Four Seasons guitar lessons at $4K a pop so I don't know if that is actually true but what do you expect him to do? He lives in America so he has to make a living under our economic system. You have zero idea how much money he donates to charity or how many other people he financially supports besides his own family. He gives freely of his time to help causes he feels are worthy as well. I don't always agree with everything they say or do but to call him a hypocrite is not really all that accurate.

How is Morello an elite? He didn't even meet his dad until he was 30. He grew up with only his mom who was a schoolteacher in suburban Chicago.

The dude is everywhere. He even has a damn show on XM. The band is a facade. Good music, but their stance on life versus what their life really is, is a facade. It's all good man. Just listen to that one album they put out 30 years ago. It was gnarly.

He's a famous rockstar from family money that falls in line with current cultural zeitgeist. Dad leaving a young man doesn't change that.
