Really enjoyed the first two acts, but overall the movie went as well as expected for a DC/The Rock movie.

Aldis Hodge is so cool as Hawkman, Brosnan was great, and really loved Swindell as Cyclone. Her character was awesome and wish I could have seen more.

Music in the movie was a little weird at times, and the stuff at the end with the kid was super corny.

Second best CBM I've seen this year. Entertaining movie for sure.

Cavill is the perfect Superman, and the updated John Williams score was great.

I agree with this.

I enjoyed it overall. It wasn't the best super hero movie ever or anything, but it was really solid. The only supporting character I didn't really like was Atom Man or whatever he was. Just seemed like he didn't really serve much purpose besides mild comic relief at times.

The music was a little weird. It felt like they were trying to copy the music for Thor and it didn't really work but it also wasn't super distracting.

Good not great movie, worth seeing on the big screen.

yep - exactly. 2 IPAs and asleep after 30 minutes.

I mean The Rock has basically confirmed it multiple times at this point. They didn't even try. I think they figured they needed the box office boost.

Personally, I've seen this advertised more than just about any movie this year, save for Top Gun. Feels like it's been in every commercial break for every sporting event over the past couple of weeks.

For me it's Top Gun and Wakanda Forever.

I can't wait to not have to hear "No woman, no cry" the next time I'm at the theater. Every. Single. Time.

I haven't for the most part. And the little bit of the Astros I caught was at a restaurant and bar with live music so the tv sound was off.

Haven't watched NBA in probably a decade. NFL is not must see tv for me. And college football will be watched if I am out somewhere and it is on or it can be background noise while I do other things.

I like Aggie football and DC too much to stop watching either one

I've just accepted we're never going to be good at football and hope for the best every week. Kinda like going to see a DC movie, very low expectations, but if turns out good, more power to it.
