Can someone remind me how season 1 ended?

******* gets Armand fired, presumably because he saw him buried face first in one of his staffer's back sides. Armand then does all the drugs, has the perfect dinner service then goes and shots in *******'s suitcase. ******* comes back and surprises him and stabs him with a knife.

Even if it was an accident wouldn't ******* still be in trouble or was it more of a struggle and self defense? Sorry, memory is fuzzy

There wasn't a lot of mystery in the first season about who was in the casket was it? Always just assumed it was *******'s hot wife?

watched the first episode and loved it. I am intrigued!

love that theres another stereotypical d bag in this season. loved the Cornell guy in the first one. Bet I am going to love this one.

I knew he was going to get naked in front of Plaza as soon as he went up to the room with her.

Well now that Lucia and Mia are officially 'guests' they can be added to death-watch for who is dead in the water. There was also a quick reference to Ambien in episode 1 between the couples so I wonder if that plays a factor if it's drowning in the ocean.

I'm also torn on which season's location made me want to immediately book a trip there more, doing a great job of making Hawaii and Sicily look perfect.

The level of trolling they put into the episodes about death is such a great running gag. I remember in season 1 they started to give Greg a random cough. And between Tonya's jumping comment, and the ******y husband saying his lost luggage thing 'makes me homicidal'. I think Mike White is on the record as having a begrudging relationship with the 'dead body' mystery aspect, so I think it's his way of just making it more ridiculous throughout the season.

I agree I feel like most of the setup is complete and we can now dive in on the arcs of each of the characters..

There are 7 episodes and I like how it feels each episode represents a day in the season culminating in the 7th day finale. Cant remember if S1 did that or not.

It went right over my head, but someone pointed out on a recent podcast that she's likely gay. In this latest episode, she griped at that man (and about men in general) in the cafe for hitting on her, but then she seemed completely taken aback when the female employee complimented her later in the episode, as if secretly smitten with her. She's also only ever griped at the male employee and not the female one. I don't know what's going to happen with her character, I just found that to be an interesting wrinkle, especially considering Armond was gay as well.

I literally LOL'ed at Tonya three times in the third episode

she is a fantastic actress and hilarious. but maybe that's just my sense of humor

Four Seasons San Domenico Palace in Taormina. Ionian Sea is also by Taormina. I also believe they did some shooting as well in Palermo as well.

Hell yeah.

It'll certainly be interesting to see how they do it. I've said this before, but I can pretty much buy two White Lotus destinations having two (or more) murders/deaths between them. It's a *little* too coincidental that Tanya is at both resorts for all deaths, but I can suspend disbelief when the writing is this good and the show's so fun. A third season of murders/deaths at a third White Lotus destination, though? I don't know. Ha, especially if Tanya is there, but I doubt Mike White brings her along yet again. We'll see, though...

Man, the tension was on level 10 that entire episode. Loved the episode. My wife just kept asking why Aubrey Plaza's character didn't call her husband out on finding the condom. It was driving her crazy.

Every actor/actress is killing their respective role. I know some people didn't like Aubrey's character early on, but I think he's playing the role perfectly. And I'm not sure how they made him look so hungover but it was very believable. Maybe he truly did go in a bender the night before they filmed.

He could, but there's still the whole "we never lie" up against "we partied with pros all night, i actually brought them back to OUR room, dick friend actually banged one IN our room, but I promise I didn't do anything" after she's given him multiple chances to come clean.

You can tell she's hoping he'll come clean on his own, but he's not taking it. So now she's left the wrapper on the counter with will force it to come to a head, pardon the pun. She sensed something was up as soon as he wasn't answering the phone and has been hoping he'd come with the truth (whatever it is) ever since. The longer it goes, the more she's thinking their marriage is bull**** too

At the end of the previous episode she seemed to suspect something, but I thought Plaza played it as if she wasn't worried by the conversation when she was back in the room until she found the condom. Seemed like it was cleared up for her until that moment in what I saw.
