I think Righteous Gemstones is the best thing McBride's ever done. I'd also put it #1 or #2 (behind Arrested Development) as the most incredible ensemble cast in a comedy ever.

We just re-watched 1x3 which introduces Baby Billy and Aunt Tiffany. Walton Goggins killing it on 2 of my top 20 shows of all-time - TRG and The Shield.

Anyway, watched a couple episodes of" Three body problem" (Chinese production) after she went to bed. Really good adaptation of the book. I was excited when Netflix announced they were adapting it, but I don't know how Netflix has any chance of topping the Chinese version

Had a horrible case of Covid last week, so re-watched the first four seasons of Game of Thrones. I failed to realize how much I missed so much the first time.

Regardless of the ending, I've really enjoyed the rewatch.

Attack on Titan:the final chapters part 1 - for my thoughts see the thread.

then I switched it up and watched some season 1 Clone Wars, I'm surprised how many good arcs there are in the first season. I remember the series getting better over time but I don't recall it starting so well. I'm watching it chronologically of course.

Watched episode 2 last night.

A lot of things are obvious and get explained in great detail at the end so idiot Americans don't miss anything (they must think everyone is an idiot to write it that way - they are mostly correct).

I like that each episode thus far has been self-contained while also working within the larger story that was set up in the pilot episode.

It's been an impressive list of guest stars early on.

I miss Joe he was definitely my favorite but Sal is definitely a close second.
