I watched thru episode 2 of Waco.

I like how there's some unseen footage. I thought I knew a lot about the whole situation but man some of the BD were some deranged people.

Also, I will always be fascinated at the dynamic between ATF/FBI to start and then the negotiators/HRT. What a cluster F at times communication wise between them during those 51 days

Wait until you see the last episode. The unreleased over head night vision footage was pretty wild. You should check out the Waco series based off the book by the FBI's lead negotiator. It digs into a lot of the dynamic between ATF and FBI.

I watched Nope. That movie was dumb as hell. I mean seriously. Jordan Peele went all M. Night Shymalan on that one and people are falling all over themselves to nominate it for awards. Really?

Just watched Everly with Salma Hayek.

It's The Room bad. And ironically enough, is shot almost entirely in one apartment.

I'm with one of the above posters. I personally feel all of the Peele movies are way overrated. It was appealing at the beginning because it was a little unique, but otherwise B- across the board.

Can't believe it took me this many years to watch Boardwalk Empire. Just finished S2 last night.

Wife is a tax accountant, so is frequently busy during this part of the year. Which gives me 100% control over what to watch.

So yesterday I watched two movies - Beneath the Planet of the Apes, which I'd seen maybe once or twice when I was a kid, and The Wolf of Wall Street, which I'd never seen.

I finally watched Plane with Gerard Butler. About what I expected from a quality and entertainment perspective. If you call movies "films", its probably not for you, but I enjoyed it!

Yeah, Plane looks like my kind of movie. Looking forward to watching that one.

my kind of movie as well. My most watched movie of all time is Shooter, if that gives you any perspective.

Peaky is great. Especially first 3 seasons or so. After that while still a good watch, it gets quite a bit slower.

I normally don't promote shows but Peaky Blinders is one I'm promoting.

My 14 year old and I watched A Knight's Tale on Sunday evening. She loved it! Hooray for a 20+-year old gem of a movie.

One of the best series ever made. Brutal too.

Watched The Island last night. Had never seen it. Not bad. Interesting concept but pulls the typical Michael Bay explosion/gunfire/car crashing antics toward the end. But Scarlett J is smoking hot in that one.

Watched The Mule for the first time. Pretty good, entertaining enough. Admittedly, I don't dissect movies like these for holes, rather, I just watch to be entertained and unplug for a bit.

We watched the Woman in the house across the street from the girl in the window. My wife didn't realize it was a parody until the last episode when she said, "I'm guessing she's going to wake up in the end and realize this was all a hallucination because this story and the dialogue has gotten really cheesy." I'm like, you realize this is all a parody, right? She had no idea.

I'm like "the title didn't give it away? The way the her daughter got killed didn't give it away? The handyman constantly working on the mailbox? The sex scene (which she LOL'd at while we were watching it). She said no, I just thought it was bad writing.

Renewed Apple TV for Ted Lasso but have since been poking around some other shows.

Been binging 'Shrinking' and really enjoying. Takes an episode or two to get into but picks up after that.

Had a lot of time for myself today, so I have been on a movie binge.

Started with an old favorite, The Valley of the Gwangi. Back in the 70s, channel 13 would occasionally have a week of monster movies that would start at 2 or so. Typically this one would air on Thursday with Godzilla Versus King Kong on Friday. I would always rush home from school to get to watch these. But now, yeah, Gwangi is a silly dinosaur western with terrible visual effects, but when you are 8 it's awesome.

Followed that with Rocky IV: Rocky Vs Drago director's cut, then The Rise of Skywalker. Now watching Plane, and am thinking I'll finish the day by watching the Spielberg version of War of the Worlds.

Just watched this. Good overall, but I am not a fan of those types of endings at all. Ruined what was a fun ride.

I'm through 2 episodes of "The Big Door Prize" (appleTV).

I'll give it a chance to see it through, but for now, it's sloooooooooow and seemingly misses the mark when trying to make scenes of impact.
