Evolved this from the Matrix thread and from listening to The Rewatchables with Bill Simmons for the past few months.
Pick an actor and list their credits for a 5-year period that represents their peak or is just fascinating for whateve reason. Actresses welcome. Directors welcome, the whole nine yard.
Just make it 5 years. And realize that 5 years is like 1977-1981, not 77-82.
So here are a few to kick it off. If you want to contribute, make the effort to look up the exact years on Wikipedia or IMDB.
Hilarious answers welcome.Muliple entries for the same actor as well.
Harrison Ford (77-81)
Star Wars 1977
Apocalypse Now 1979
The Empire Strikes Back 1980
Raiders of the Lost Ark 1981
But you can also say Harrison Ford (80-84)
The Empire Strikes Back 1980
Raiders of the Lost Ark 1981
Blade Runner 1982
Return of the Jedi 1983
Temple of Doom (not that great) 1984
Tom Hanks (94-98)
Forrest Gump 1994
Toy Story 1995
Apollo 13 1995
That Thing You Do! 1996
Saving Private Ryan 1998
You've Got Mail 1998
Hanks is a Catch-22 because you're either leaving out Sleepless in Seattle and Philadelphia (Oscar) in 1993 or leaving out SPR in '98
Nicolas Cage (95-99)
Leaving Las Vegas 1995
The Rock 1996
Con Air 1997
Face/off 1997
City of Angels 1998
Snake Eyes 1998
8MM 1999
I won't bogart all the best ones. Enjoy
