Mazey Day was quality.

Beyond the Sea was pretty great - beautifully shot and loved the aesthetic. Afraid to start Mazey Day based on comments here

Demon79 was all right, but again, doesn't fit Black Mirror. It did take me down a rabbit hole where I researched Boney M and basically found out they were the OG Milli Vanilli. Some white german dude actually sang all of their songs.

Ok finally watched Joan is awful. Thought it was good.

Overall this season is much better than last
But still not anything amazing

I liked it OK but I was sucker for werewolf movies when I was a kid.

The last two seasons of black mirror have sucked relative to the rest of the series. I was so excited about Season 6 too.

Think about White Christmas. White Bear. Then this garbage season.

Binged this over the long weekend. I thought Joan is Awful, Loch Henry, and Beyond the Sea were awesome...the other two were just meh to me.

I think Joan is Awful and Beyond the Sea were the two best.

I didn't like Loch Henry. The main girl just really got on my nerves. And I kept waiting for some other twist at the very end.

Ep 1 was cute…i say don't give the cooters at Netflix any ideas

Ep 2 definitely had a BM vibe to it…darker

Already better than season 5, which admittedly is a loooooow bar to overcome

Sure, but it's still an episode of Black Mirror. No idea why they didn't just start a new show this season.

It's also confusing that they didn't do the same for Loch Henry and the paparazzi episode.

has anyone kept up w the actor/writer strike? i actually read a little bit about it yesterday - because, honestly, who cares... but one of the big hangups w the actors is apparently AI related to use of image and likeness - whoever the actors are negotiating with had clauses requiring them to grant perpetual ownership of all the background actors' imagery - meaning they could manipulate the extra's imagery to compose future content without consent or payment... kind of interesting given the topic of Joan is Awful. wonder if that was brewing in the background when they wrote the episode?

Joan is Awful is a wild episode. Very well done. Still thinking about the concept a few days later.

Once again Black Mirror on the cutting edge of societal and technological change.

Men Against Fire in season 3 may be one of the darkest Black Mirror episodes.

This along with White Bear and Metalhead might be the top three darkest and dystopian of all the black mirrors.

Season 7 is coming in 2025! Glad Charlie Booker ditched that "Red Mirror" slasher film concept from season 6.
