After losing 1.5MM in 1Q. These seem like pretty big numbers. What could be the problem(s)? Genuinely curious, as I know it's not the woke stuff. That never has a negative financial impact, I am told on here.

It genuinely must be tiring to try and steer every conversation on TexAgs in the same direction a million times a day, then obviously say something you want to distance yourself from and have to completely abandon your previous anonymous username and create a new one.

Looks like their Parks Division's income was up over 20% in Q1 despite all their parks being completely staffed by groomers who try to immediately turn kids trans upon entering. Weird.

We renewed for another year this past November, but the kids are growing up, and next year, it just isn't worth it to renew. I know that others though should be having kids in that target market that are adding the service but maybe they already had it, but with all the increase in prices for all the premium streamers, it just isn't worth it for us.

The must see Marvel and DIsney shows went from watch immediately, to we'll try and keep up eventually, to now they aren't getting viewed. And there has been a show here or there that we watch as family, but it has been a while.

I canceled mine earlier this year because of a combination of lack of content and woke content. Not 100% against Disney though...I'll pick them up again eventually for a month or so to watch whatever I want and then cancel again. Without kids I just don't need them 24/7. I imagine for some parents with young children their answer might be different.

If they ever move to a model requiring contracts or subscriptions though I'm out. But that would be true for pretty much any streaming provider. I don't need access to all streaming providers at once.

It's interesting to cross-reference threads like this (and similar threads on F16) with long-running Star Wars and Marvel threads. Loads of people who love to chime in about how they'll never give any of their money to the woke Mouse but yet strangely have a lot to say about new episodes of Mando or the new MCU series.

We dropped it in January because the increasing price just wasn't worth the content they're offering. Now I just read Iger announced they're increasing prices again. I predict that's gonna go over like a lead balloon.

The obsessiveness... the sick need to constantly try and rub it in people's faces... the virtue signaling... the paranoia... and especially the being proven wrong time and again part really does seem like *the* most exhausting/deranged way to live one's life. Especially when like ten seconds of research would have revealed the India/soccer thing. That stat is everywhere. But, no. Must. Fight. Perceived. Wokeness. At. All. Cost.

I think there are, in general, two types of posters who do this.
The first type are motivated by hate or disgust or some emotional connection to it, and they are against it. Taking time and effort to make sure others know they "couldn't care less", and while there are plenty of threads they don't commit in, somehow they find it important to post (repeatedly) about a topic they don't care about.

However, there is a second type (and you can find on the Aggie football forum) because they at one time care, and still may greatly care about it, but hate something about it. They are extremely frustrated with Fran, Sherman, Sumlin, Jimbo and want to see change. I used to love Star Wars, and can remember seeing the OT in the theaters. Sure the young Anakin trilogy knocked me down, but I still was a fan, perhaps starting to complain, but still willing to see Force Awakens. Then the complaining Awakened in me for quite a while. I'm not against Star Wars, but I've now grown to the near apathetic state. My complaints were because I did care, hated the direction it was going and certain predictable.

My point is that some of those chiming in to complain really do care, and just want to see some things change.

It's only weird if you're not good at math like some people in this thread aren't good at reading about India.

They've gotten so efficient at pricing they could only allow people 24-40 in and they could increase their profits. Everything cost and can have an add on or faster experience. Pretty sure they actually have lowered attendance but make more per person by a large amount.

The parks division doesn't need that crowd like bud does. Disney actually knows their audience for parks.

The funny thing is OP accidentaly proved that fake baseball with where foul balls are hits is a million times more important than whatever fake culture war he thinks he is fighting.
