This will probably only appeal to maybe 10% of people here, but this afternoon I finally saw Past Lives - a romantic drama that's already getting all kinds of Oscar buzz, with a 97% on Rotten Tomatoes - that easily just became my number one movie of the year so far. It's just so well done, and so incredibly affecting, made all the more impressive by the fact that it's from first-time director, Celine Song. It's not a wide release, but is currently playing theatrically in most major cities, and should hopefully be on digital/streaming in the next few weeks. For anyone into this kind of thing, it's absolutely worth your time...
