Fox just doesn't know a good show when they have it sometimes. I swear someone wanted to kill Firefly trying to put it up against season 2 of survivor. Worst time slot possible, and they had some other really dog**** shows at the time IIRC.

Maybe I'm thinking of another Whedon show, but I think Fox made them run the episodes out of order too.

Correct. Fox also canceled it before the last 3 episodes were aired. It wasn't until the DVD boxset release that fans got to see those episodes outside of Browncoat fan conventions and the UK.

My pick goes to Severance. The final episode of season 1 was the biggest nailbiter ever.

All the great NBC sitcoms from the era of clever writing: Community, 30 Rock, The Office (except the last 2 seasons), Parks and Rec. All had multiple laugh-out-loud moments every episode.

Without a doubt 70s era SNL with the original cast. I can remember the skits line-for-line from when I was a kid, only now I get the jokes.

Dark season 1 and up until the last 5 minutes of the ending of season 2.

The Office up until Michael Scott leaves.

But Veep is such a great choice, the almost insanely good one liners were what I waited for each week.

It was destination TV on Thursday nights in the 90's. Couldn't wait for the new episode each week.

It's so hard to just pick one. I have to take into account the level of enjoyment at first watch vs the level of enjoyment for anytime afterwards. For instance, I love Scrubs but the drop off enjoyment from first watch to re-watch isn't near the drop off as it is for a show like Lost. Therefore, for me, it probably has to do with mystery type shows.

All that being said, I would pick Dark.

Either that or Doctor Who as that was just a fun ride discovering that show and all of its lore.

Just kidding. The Wonder Years. Really left an impact on all of us from that era, but I'd love to see it new as a parent. Both of mine loved it, which was incredibly rare back in the day.
