CNN is an enemy of the state and should be treated as such.
Thanks for the info,, curious, when was this filmed?Tobias Funke said:BenFiasco14 said:Tobias Funke said:
Haven't watched this yet, but I had several rounds of interviews to be on the show (as well as a physical and psych eval), alerted my company I would need the time off, and had my bags packed. They went a different direction last minute.
I'm guessing they found your texags handle?
Haha I do wonder about that.
The process was basically:
1) A guy I know works for the studio casting team and mentioned that I should apply
2) I filled out a very lengthy application online ( including a self recorded video) and then had an interview with him and his casting director over Zoom
3) a couple weeks later I was told I was moving to the next step and then had a video call with someone higher up in casting
4) I then waited a long time and then got a call out of the blue from Netflix giving me info on next steps (basically are you still available the dates of filming? and if so, we are emailing you everything you need)
5) then things started getting very tedious and fast paced. I had about a week to schedule a physical and a long discussion with a Netflix psychologist. They also had me turn over all my social media info and answer more in depth questions. The psychologist told me if I was at this point that I could assume I was going.
Then they went radio silent and the day before I was supposed to be leaving I still had heard nothing. Even the casting guy I know thought that was odd so he said I should call them. I called and all they said was "we decided to not move forward with you".
So who knows! It was a bummer.

February 2023. There was a big uproar right after they started filming because the first week on set England had a cold spell. Apparently during the Red Light Green Light scene, the contestants were in a freezing warehouse without any warm clothes for hours at a time. A lot of people went to the hospital or dropped out because of the cold (according to some articles that came out)07ag said:Thanks for the info,, curious, when was this filmed?Tobias Funke said:BenFiasco14 said:Tobias Funke said:

When it came time for the three buttons challenge, I knew Sam was going out. As someone pointed out earlier, he'd managed to always avoid ever making a decision or putting himself at risk. You knew it was going to backfire on him this time, primarily because you also knew the final two wasn't going to be two men. This is Netflix, that wasn't going to happen. Although with a gay man, hippie scuba instructor, and 55 year old Asian immigrant, I think Netflix hit the representation quote they wanted.lethalninja said:
Any thoughts on the final episode?
After all that build up of filling the piggy bank with cash (which was unrealistic as hell if you actually counted the bundles, one stack equals $10k, and they were dropping more than one stack per person), to just hand them a card was the ultimate letdown.boy09 said:
Did anyone else think it was hilarious that the big reveal of the prize in the safe was just a gift card that said "Infinite" on it
Gonna get me all riled up this early in the morning. This is the most mind blowing part of the show. It is like everyone just shrugged their shoulders and brushed it off. Either it was editing or the 20 or so people had no stones to say something. I am glad Mai called her out.Quote:
I was also dumbfounded at why everyone was made at Maia for nominating the girl who did not go past the guy in the bridge. I don't see how that can be an editing issue. How could they possibly edit something that bad to where it makes no sense at all? How was no one else mad at her for screwing over the guy in front of her? And it was also very dumb of her bc the people behind her could have easily declined to go in front of her, whereas she could have gone in front of the guy in front of her and guranteed that she only had to jump once. All of it made no sense at all.
It was editing. Trey has a video on IG or TT that my wife showed me. Long story short - Trey did not know the plan. Not everyone agreed to the overpassing. Ashley, after Trey was eliminated, did take her 50/50 jump. Link: https://www.instagram.com/reel/C0cEa0Yudkb/?hl=enn_touch said:Gonna get me all riled up this early in the morning. I have seen the same thing, but it is all a smoke screen. I just watched to make sure I remembered correctly on how it went down.A is A said:It was editing. With that said. If she had overpassed. Trey would have survived the bridge. I think that is what people are angry about because he was the most "normal" guy in the show and because of production we had bonded with his story.
