I cant open the tweet and see a full size picture.. Is that the chick that played Wednesday? Seems a little hokey to cast her as another goth chick. Casual onlookers will think it is a crossover.

My oldest daughter is somewhat obsessed with Wednesday Addams and she hasn't even seen the show. I have no idea how she found this love for the character. She even had a Wednesday themed bday party and we just bought some baby chicks and the girls named the black one Wednesday.
I think all these trends originate from Tiktok these days...

My kids don't have access to tiktok but they know what it is. I think they see the ads on Netflix or hear the other kids talking about it. I'm fairly certain she likes Wednesday because she is mono chrome. For being an ultra girly girl, my daughter loves wearing only black and white.

I watched the entire season and didn't even know there was a viral dance.
My kids kept saying "that's my purse, I don't know you". I finally asked them when they became huge King of the Hill fans. They had no idea what I was talking about. So I showed them the episode, now they love King of the Hill!

The original came out while I was at A&M. I enjoyed it at the time, but really looked at it along with Burton's Batman as I would look at Emmerich's Stargate to Independence Day a few years later. It was a good movie that set up the director's truly big one.
But over many re-watches over the years, I've come to really love Beetlejuice.
