The principal in Breakfast Club was also Clarence Beeks (the fixer) in Trading Places. He got his in the end, though.
The problem with people that don't get it is they don't get that they don't get it.

I skipped school to see this move during my junior year of school. Nothing seems more normal than 3 teenage idiots showing up at a movie theater at 11 a.m. on a Friday. The guy at the ticket window says, "School let out early today, huh?" and then didn't even charge us.

With his d-baggery in Die Hard, very strong showing.

The pay phone scene in Trading Places kills me every time.

Footloose had Chuck Cranston, Ariel's boyfriend. Total dickwad who wrecked a tractor, bullied the new kid in town and tried to ruin the big dance/prom by beating up participants! Plus...Ariel tells her dad, "I'm no saint you know. I'm not even a virgin." This of course makes Reverend Shaw Moore pissed and he says "Don't you talk like that here!" They don't say for sure but you know probably Chuck had his hand in that too! Well, not hand but...yanno.

Chet from Weird Science was my first thought before opening.

This guy was up there in a similarly very small role.

One of the all time great character intros.
  • The hair and mustache!
  • The gloves!
  • Cutting the other car off!
  • That saxophone!!!

You picked him instead of Sgt. Major Dickerson, who was in more dire need of a BJ than any white man in history?

To be fair, he really did nothing for like 30 years.

I'm sure Vince Gilligan remembered him from the 1980s movies.

I love directors that bring in guys from movies/shows they loved as kids and give them roles.

JT Walsh also played the a-hole Markinson in A Few Good Men.

But Hauk was a bigger character and more memorable in GMV. Dickerson was transferred out to Guam. lol

Markinson was just a whipping boy to Jessup. Jessup was just doing his job. Kendrick was the real D-Bag.

Hauk was a dork who didn't understand comedy, but he wasn't mean. Dickerson tried his best to get Cronauer court-marshalled or killed.

Roger Dorn is a hero.

He doesn't ask for a trade despite being on a terrible team.

He cheerfully hazes the new rookie to let him know he's on the team, even though that guy acts nuts in return.

He doesn't file a complaint when his manager sexually harasses him.

He invites an Indian superfan to join the team at their post-game party

His trash wife cheats on him with a teammate, tells him right before the Indians' biggest game since 1948, and even still he goes out and gets a two-out single in the last of the 8th to get Cerrano up to hit a 2-run homer to tie the game..

Then he motivates the very guy who banged his wife.
