If you're in New York City and interested in seeing something on Broadway, I'd highly recommend Stereophonic.
The play is about a (fictional) band trying to write and record an album in the late 70s. It's loosely based on the the breakup of Fleetwood Mac. Its not a musical in that no one is breaking out into song. But there are songs in which the band records their songs in a recording studio. The actors learned to play their instruments and play them incredibly well. But the characters and and their relationships are the strengths of the play.
I'm not a cultured theatre person nor knowledgeable about Fleetwood Mac, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. And the play just won a bunch of Tonys if that means anything.
