I blame the Swiss and that damned CERN lab. But, I had at least 2 C3POS figures and none of them had a silver leg.

Who here remembers C-3PO having a silver calf? Next they'll tell us the tontons had 4 legs.
But I know no matter what the waitress brings

It doesn't always stand out in the films, but it's there

A right silver leg is the protocol droid equivalent of single, right earring.

In a little-known chapter of galactic history, C-3PO's right leg, from foot to knee, was not merely a random mismatched replacement part but a bold statement of solidarity. The golden protocol droid, known for his etiquette and translation skills, deliberately chose to retain the silver limb as a symbol of unity with the countless overlooked silver protocol droids across the galaxy, who were often relegated to lesser roles and denied the same respect as their golden counterparts. By keeping his leg silver, C-3PO sought to spark a conversation about fairness and equal treatment for all droids, regardless of their plating. However, the writers of Star Wars, wary of droid-rights discourse overshadowing the main storyline, systematically minimized C-3PO's role, silencing his advocacy and cutting out large portions of his scenes. What remained was a vague, unexplained design choice, leaving audiences to wonder if there was more to the story - a mystery buried beneath the edits of history.

The silver right leg is blowing my mind as I search google images and see that it may be true. Sadly, I don't know anyone in real life who is nerdy enough to share this realization with. Instead, I must face this shocking revelation alone, like Chewbacca after he left his home planet of Kashyyyk, but before he was captured by Trandoshan slavers and held captive on Wasskah.

I need to load up my old VHS and see if it's actually silver or did George manipulate it.

report back. For some reason in my brain it was a silver arm. But memory is probably wrong

Silver leg…stands out so vividly in my mind even from childhood….

Now…why the hell 3PO had a red arm in TFA and yet was back to his gold one in TLJ with TLJ picking up immediately after TFA….thats dumb….

I waited hours in a line that wrapped around the Galleria skating rink to see the first Star Wars in 1977. Watched it 9 times in that first year. I don't remember any silver leg.

Houston?

I know in the mid 1980s the dallas one didn't have a theatre but Valley View did.

Op here. I should have clarified in the OP that I was referring to a Mandela Effect scenario. Of course, if we go back to original VHS and movie posters, he will have the silver leg. I should have been clearer than just referring to CERN and their timeline shifting experiments.

Problem with Star Wars is they retrocon'd everything.

Star Wars?

No....it's A New Hope.

Han shot first?

No, Greedo shot first.

Mandela effect is people having bad memories. And honestly, it's really hard to see that his leg it silver.

More than 99.99% likely it is attributable to bad memories. But, it's still a fun theory.

Yep, the Houston Galleria had more than theater by the early 80's. I saw it at the original Galleria I theater that was there from the start.

I knew you were referring to the Mandella effect. There are several really freaky ones.
