Are you asking about the music venue in George, WA?

If so then absolutely HELL YAY! Saw one of the stranger lineups there ever in 2002 and it was unreal:

moby, David Bowie, Busta Rhymes, and the Blue Man Group. An unforgettable experience.

Unexpectedly awesome!

Would watch again.

And the song that plays during the grand finale - perfect - had me grinning from ear to ear (music for me is like cheese, makes everything better). Again proving my point.

Wife and I just watched for Valentine's Day movie. We enjoyed it. Mainly because it was just different and that had us interested. More action than we thought and a little cheesy but we both enjoyed it and glad we watched.

An amazing venue. Have seen lots of shows here having lived in Portland. One of my favorite venues of all time (have not been to Red Rocks yet)

Adding to the positive reviews, it's a lot of fun and well worth a watch. The director described it as a "romantic sci-fi action horror political spy thriller" and that's pretty spot on. My better half really enjoyed it as well.

Just finished, pretty entertaining. Felt like someone who used to work on a game like HALO decided to write a movie

The venue is awesome. 8/10

The movie is terrible. 4/10

I thought this was a fun movie. Apple has some high quality tv shows, but generally not very good movies. I thought this one was solid.

I thought the plot was relatively unique and fun. It was like a mix of Annhilation, The Last of Us, Resident Evil and Stranger Things.

Really split opinions it seems. I really liked it.

The movie was a fun and easy watch, but the premise and plot was awful. It's hard to imagine these get funding and green lit with the plot being spelled out way in advance.

And even little crap like the scene switching from yellow to purple or blue had no basis.

Why do these directors like filming in the dark? A lot of the scenes I could barely see a thing.

Otherwise, it was just ok. There is no way my wife would have watched it.

I think what killed me was that they were so nonchalant about everything. Like the first time they have to fight the hollow men off, they just kind of act like it's business as usual. Not really any "what the **** were those things" moment. Honestly the romantic plot line was the best part, which isn't saying much

Go to the Gorge, stay at Cave B winery in the Cliff Houses and enjoy the wineries in Quincy for the day. Go to Jones, Beaumont and Errant. Those are a few of my favorites.

I thought it was ok. Fun at times, fast forwarded a lot through the slow much a nothing romantic dialogue.

This x 1,000,000.

I was already unimpressed by the time the guy joined the woman. Then they started talking, and I actually laughed out loud. Was this written by a 13 year old?? It was ****ing awful.

Watching while my wife is occupied with other things tonight. About 20 minutes, seems interesting enough so far.

Let me help: the special effects are great as well as the camera work. The acting is average+. The writing...well it's about typical for average Hollywood movies nowadays which is to say...not always realistic but passable unless you are looking for something with serious meat like Severance.

IMHO

You're not alone. My wife and I groaned through out the entire movie. Maybe the stupidest movie I've seen in a while.

I enjoyed it more than The Tomorrow War on Netflix as far as these genre projects go.

Glad to see JK Simmons and Miles Teller put forth some effort in the movies rather mailing it in like in Whiplash.

Some of y'all must have missed the preview showing one guy and one girl who obviously will develop a relationship despite being stationed in two towers separated by an enormous gorge that is "the door to hell and [they're] standing guard at the gate."

I mean - really, what were some of you expecting? (And I do mean that jokingly )

The movie makes no pretense about what it is and was exactly the type of B movie I would watch on Commander USA's Groovie Movies every Saturday on the USA Network in the 80s.

Thus, I stand by my earlier statement - unexpectedly awesome!

He mailed it in so badly in Whiplash that he won an Oscar.

Did I read your post correctly?

I like to think you did so in Drax's voice.

Yeah, that was an entertaining two hours last night. Visually superb, writing meh, characters meh, the idea behind the story was compelling enough to keep my interest. Having said that, I described it to my wife later last night and she was less than impressed, and it's not something I'm likely to rewatch.

So I skimmed this thread and assumed this show was a musical or a concert or something. I hate musicals, but my wife loves them (Wicked, etc.). So I suggested she give this show a try.

I guess this is not a musical. Oops.

We lived in West Linn and I worked in Tualatin. Really miss the PNW. Those were great years.
