I like ATJ, but they couldn't find an Eastern European woman to play that role? Listening to her speak also made me roll my eyes.

Per the writer that was actually in the script before they were cast, but then they really leaned into it given the two actors.

I didn't like the movie but I did appreciate those two references. I don't understand how Apple can put out mostly great TV shows but fall so flat on movies. Their movies are just Netflix level films, nothing more. Had this been a Netflix movie I would have had lower expectations and might have had some fun with it. I'm not against a mindless film to kill time but when you expect a little more and get something like this it's just disappointing. But I also think they could have had even more fun with it with some changes, it just didn't work for me. The script was a mix of poorly written exposition and shot in front of a green screen.

If you go in with low expectations you can find a way to enjoy this, otherwise don't bother.

Cheesy AF. I realize it's all about money, but I can't believe two respected actors agreed to do this movie.

It is definitely on my bucket list to see a concert at. Looks awesome

Respected maybe, but I don't really consider Miles a good actor. Average at best. Maybe its just the dumb look on his face he always has that rubs me wrong, idk.

I feel like it says a lot that brief glimpses of characters playing drums and chess is a highlight of the film.

Based on the comments it seems a lot of people understood this movie for what it is

I read a review that talked about this movie being originally written as a Resident Evil movie, and it makes total sense

Pretty decent film. We enjoyed it.

The soundtrack is fantastic. Probably the best thing about the movie.

Teller's dialogue was too on the nose and amateur, but then you could write that off as him being such a social recluse he would be very on the nose when he finally finds someone.

I still can't decide if I think ATJ is attractive or just distinctive looking. I will continue to lean to the latter I think.

First half was great. Should've stopped watching when he fell in the gorge.

Put me in the "man that sucked" camp. I won't even get into all the reasons why because that movie isn't worth the effort,
But I will just say, I knew it wasn't gonna be great when I realized that the entire plot revolves around just 2 people protecting the entire world from destruction with communication only once a month, from a threat they could have destroyed decades ago, but didn't because they are researching it, even though no one is there to do so other than the two people that aren't allowed to communicate with each other or the outside world, and aren't scientists.
It all made perfect sense.
