So it's easy to call out Darth Vader as maybe the most distinguishable that would send a shiver down spines. But the other night, I was watching the original Willow (RIP Madmartigan) and remembered just how badass Kael's voice was...If you ever go back and just focus on it, his battle calls are tremendous.

Anyhow, anyone else come to mind? It's amazing what a voice can do amongst all the other chaos in a movie to really set a tone.

Voice: 9/10 performance with that weird tone and inflection
Sound Editing: 2/10 because the production team made it impossible to hear/process at times

Palpatine as gargoyle Emperor has a great villainous voice. Rather normal as chancellor/senator, although when he says to Anakin at the end of TPM, "We will be following your career with great interest, young Skywalker", there was a bit of familiarity in inflection on those last words when he had said them in ROTJ.

  • Christopher Lee in everything he's in - Dooku and Saruman being two recent examples

Pretty sure that and seeing SURRENDER DOROTHY written in the sky in smoke coupled with those damn flying monkeys was too much for me at that young age.
