I watched that recently and recognized Kael's voice from somewhere when he yelled out "I have the child" I racked my brain and realized he sounded like the celt mercenary leader in Prince of Thieves, and sure enough he was

Alan Rickman's voice was great in that, too. Because it's dull, you twit, it'll hurt more!

Grandpa Joe was a lazy malingering bum. He was supposedly bedridden and on his deathbed and couldn't work so the family could eat but as soon as Charlie had the golden ticket he springs up and dances around the room and goes with him to make sure he gets a piece of that inheritance.
