Thunder in Paradise was awesome (to 9 year old me)

I thought the coolest thing was Sting playing a bad guy with no face paint.

I still remember staying up late to watch Starrcade '97 with Hogan vs Sting. Match didn't live up to the hype but that year of Sting vs NWO was some of the best wrestling storytelling ever.

This is fairly accurate. I listen to a few wrestling podcasts still

Hulk had surgery as he had gone a long time (possibly months or years) not being able to feel in one of his hands. Significant nerve damage due to spinal compression.

The surgery resulted in heart complications.
