This is just what the Safdie Brothers do.

They gave Kevin Garnett a prominent role in Uncut Gems , which worked out incredibly well, while Mike Francesa made the trailer as well (below).

Kevin O'Leary basically playing a Shark, with Marty seemingly pitching him throughout, is hardly a stretch. In fact, I'd say it works on a subconscious level in that regard, and my bet is that's what Safdie was going for.

Good point. We'll see if it pays off like it did with KG.

Rogan watched it ahead of time and said something like, it was not a "fighting movie", it was a great movie that happened to involve fighting & The Rocks acting was great.

What great reviews, I knew from the trailer that this was going to be awesome. And honestly, since Dune 2, I've been all in on Timmy. I dig everything about him.

This year's Oscars are gonna be a classic, Coogler, PTA, TC, Leo, Daniel Day, etc. Multiple bangers, like 2010.

Could not be more psyched for this as well, and yeah, it's turning out to be a pretty damn good awards year too.
