I'm sure they'll figure it out. It came out of nowhere. It caught everyone by surprise so they're working on the fly with this.

It doesn't surprise me though. REK has been sitting down in his shows for many years. Thursday night at the benefit he sounded great but you could tell he wasn't playing guitar. I can be a harsh critic when it comes to live music and like I said, he sounded great on Thursday night but there is a crud going around. I'll be there Monday night, hopefully he feels better to perform tomorrow & Monday. REK was the first Texas country artist that I followed religiously!

Pardon my whining, crowd was light, show was awesome. Hope someone video'd the 'my hometown' finale, that was pretty special

Well guess I'm out of luck, Stubhub won't give me a refund because the concert organizers won't update the event to canceled. I guess because there was a concert that night but when you pay to see the headliner on your bucket list and not to see a no-name replacement the event should have been listed as canceled.

I paid almost two months ago, not sure I can dispute a charge that old but will try.

Floore's is doing everything they can to help, not sure who has to contact Stubhub to tell them the show did not go on.

Why did you order thru StubHub? Floore's still had tickets for sale last week.

Just never pulled the trigger and gone. Proposed it among friends several times and couldn't get all to agree to go so never went. Finally had my wife tell me we should go when he started touring again.

2nd was William Beckman. I first saw him during Covid at Nutty Brown Cafe when he was opening for Randy Rogers. I couldn't see the stage at first but I could his voice is something else. I was surprised when I saw the stage because it was shocking he looked like a teenager 5 years ago. He's one of the nicest and grateful artists I've met. I forget who with but he just got signed by a label and he's dating another singer who is about to blow up as well.
