It's a lot like some of the movies that were based on SNL skits back in the 90s. They take a funny skit and try to flesh it out into a full length movie or show and the result is silly but good enough for some laughs. Think " A Night at the Roxbury" as an example

Loved Ted Lasso. Maybe chuckled once or twice at "Chad" but pretty much meh for me. Different strokes...
My point is it doesn't have to be bad.
Nothing wrong with not liking a show. It is odd to not like a show then go to a thread about it though.
But as you said, different strokes.
But that show was awesome but watching it now it's really bad.
