After watching and listening to a bunch of her work, wow. She's already/about to blow up on YouTube and Spotify.

I can appreciate how her energy could breathe new life into the guys.

The link is direct from the tour page on rush.com. Just scroll down above the tour dates.

Weird: On the Ft Worth travel VIP package, it says:

"Two (2) "Closer to the Heart" VIP tickets to see Rush perform at Dickies Arena on Friday, June 26th 2026, tickets include:

One premium reserved ticket in rows 2-12"

Am I reading that wrong or is that inconsistent?

Three things besides her obvious proficiency should make her a great fit.
  • She's a composer as well, not "just a rock band drummer"
  • She's played with Beck on tour, so she'll be comfortable in front of an audience composed of old white dudes (what a weird concern, lol)
  • Most importantly, she uses a wide variety of percussion instruments in her playing, so she's perfect for favorites like Xanadu and 2112.
I also like that she plays different styles. She's extremely versatile. Maybe she can write lyrics, too?

She can write lyrics but they are all in German.

It will make more sense when she plays Der Trommler.

I've got the Pikalar album on my Spotify repeat right now - as a big Jazz fusion fan - it's awesome. Can't believe I've never heard of her before.

Thanks for the heads-up. Registered for the pre-sale and I'll probably buy tix, but this seems like a $ grab to me.

13 tour dates is no money grab. There is a certain fixed cost to put on any tour and you make it up in a long run.

really a moving video and it's certainly their call.

i think if they want it just for the love of playing their music for a crowd it's a great thing.

as a drummer who worships Neil I am totally ok with this and she is a fantastic inspired choice really. she brings her own style and flair which is not widely known or associated with a specific band like any big name drummer would always have that kind of association.

i'm in and registered yesterday right after it dropped.

Relistening to everything this week and noticing the songs where Anika could really bring a different feel. "The Big Money" and "Mystic Rhythms" could be top of the list so far.

Perhaps, and they just added 10 more shows. It used to be that tours were done to boost album sales and you hoped to break even. Now, that paradigm has flipped.

Even if it is a cash grab, they'll still get some of my $.

Based off registrations for the presale, I'm sure. Probably the only reason it was in place.

I'm pretty sure this is 1/3 fan appreciation, 1/3 as a tribute to and closure for Neil and 1/3 for Alex and Geddy to just have fun.

If I get lucky enough to get a ticket, I'll be there in my R40 shirt.

Just so y'all don't think I'm a hater, I was in Bar Harbor this past weekend and stumbled across a place called Geddy's (no relation). Picked up a cool t-shirt (diff from the pic, but you get the idea). They had a pic of Geddy and Alex with the owner (?) wearing a "Geddy's- It's a Rush" tee.

Holy crap 4 shows now at Dickies.

They can charge me whatever they want. lol.

I saw these tours:
Signals 1983
Summer Jam in Dallas 1984
Hold Your Fire 1988

Then I had a protracted long break - work, kids, etc.
Vapor Trails 2002
Time Machine 2010
Clockwork Angels 2012
R40 2015 - took my adult son to this one very special

Looking forward to Fifty Something in 2026

Everything is tracked to adjust on the fly.

The more registrations, the more likely shows are to get adds.

In many cases it impacts prices as well - if there's 10,000 people in the queue, prices will dynamically shift upwards before many of those people even get in to see tickets. The cheapest upper level seat your friend sees with queue position 500 can be a different price than the same upper level seat you see at queue position 10,000.

Had to adjust my presale selections for the new dates.
Unfortunately, one of the new Fort Worth dates conflicts with a family wedding so I'm trying 2 LA Forum, 2 Dickies.

Although, the presales start at the same time in each time zone so, maybe a better strategy would be one city per time zone which is what I did for Bad Bunny a couple years ago. I wound up getting my first choice there so I didn't have to travel to Salt Lake or anything crazy like that.

I've got the rest of the day to change my strategy.

Toronto would be cool, or Cleveland for the final show - since I'll lo longer be able to say I was at the last Rush show ever - in 2015.

We did some in FW and some in Toronto. Seeing them in their home town would be cool. That crowd will be something else.

Anyone doing the VIP/Travel packages - supposed to go on sale tomorrow but didn't see a time. Also that company did something similar with the Metallica tour and heard mixed reviews - some said definitely worth it others said there were hidden fees and didn't receive information until the last minute.

Did anybody figure out the Citi Card member presale link?

Says those sales start at noon tomorrow.

Looks like you have to click through this way - https://www.citientertainment.com/

My wife did, and she says it's thru Citi Entertainment. They're supposed to email her 1 hour before the presale opens. She had link her Citi account to Ticketmaster.

Hope this helps, good luck!

FYI, the Citi presale deal is for the US only; AMEX for Canada. At least this is what it's telling my wife. A couple days ago, it allowed her to select the TOR shows but last night, and again this morning, they didn't show and then she saw the clarification.

They've been my #1 since I first heard the opening note of Tom Sawyer in 1981.

Geddy & Alex missed playing in the limelight, so they decided to tour. It'll never be the same but its 1000% better than no Rush concerts at all!

I'm so in! Presale in 55 minutes.

We played around for the Toronto shows. Floor was $2000 and even lower bowl was $1000. Farther back on the lower bowl maybe got you down in the $500 range.
