I'll be surprised if they don't add more shows. Or more cities and shows. Or a short Vegas residency.

The Eagles and Sammy Hagar have each had Vegas residencies that got extended with some gaps in between their sets of dates.

You're in luck, I have a friend opening available!

I'll check back in May or early June to see how many friends I have with $400 in disposable income.

I bought only 1 $800 floor ticket for one of the LA Forum shows because I'm happy to go visit friends in LA around the Rush concert but, I ain't takin' any of them with me.

Yep. Total "guys" trip, most wives won't care a bit about going to this (wives on this thread mentioned excepted). Would be awesome to see them here during football season.

Can you imagine the graphics overload on 2112, Barchetta...damn, the list is too long to mention . Xanadu!!

It would definitely work at the Sphere. I absolutely loved The Wreckers live. The background video plus the lighting, then add in the string section… man it was awesome.

I've probably written about this before but the very first time I heard "Countdown" was on a ladies shopping bus from my hometown of Al-Jubail to Al-Khobar.

Since we lived in a small town which didn't have much in the way of shopping and women couldn't drive, the company (Fluor) ran two, brand new, 43 passenger Nissan UD tour buses once a week for the ladies to go to the big city to shop.

Anyway, I'm listening to the "Signals" tape on my Sanyo knockoff version of a Walkman and as the helicopter flying overhead moved from one ear to the other, I started looking out the bus window trying to spot the helicopter. It sounded very real and I didn't know it was part of the song. I can imagine how awesome that would be in surround sound in The Sphere.

Just thought I'd share one of those happy memories of listening to Rush and living in a small town in the desert.

I had a Toshiba Walkman clone.

It had a module you could insert that would let you listen to the radio.

Man that thing could eat some batteries.

I listened to a lot of Rush and other stuff on that little player.

I suspected it was casino related and I'm correct.

Mohegan Sun Arena in the Mohegan Sun casino resort.

Like if you ever see a show at Thackerville, OK that's at Winstar. They have a lot of concerts especially for the Gen X crowd.

My musician friends in LA always loved playing Indian Casinos and I asked why.

They told me that Indian Casinos have money and therefore, they pay well and with no problems.

As opposed to going on tour playing clubs and then having to fight with the owner to try to get paid and trying to get paid the correct amount.

Last night I was doing some minor construction getting my guest room ready for my mom to visit this weekend and I was listening to talk radio on AM 950 KPRC via the iHeart App on my phone.

They played an ad for the new Rush tour and I was going to get mad if they added Houston dates after I already warmed up my credit card on Fort Worth tickets.

Glad to see they only added SATX locally.

The only other new cities that I'd be interested in would be Hollywood, FL, or Edmonton or Vancouver. But, I don't think December in Canada is really going to fit in my travel plans.

Travelling 4 hours instead of 15-minutes is a little bit of a killer, but hoping Dickie's in FW is a decent place to see a show. It's a little smaller than Frost center, which is a plus. It'll be fun either way. And my wife is stoked beyond belief.

I'm going Sunday and Tuesday in FW. Gonna take a few days off and visit a couple friends in the Metroplex while also visiting some guitar stores

Just gotta find a place to stay. This World Cup thing up there has it all screwed up

And there is a Dallas match the day before the Fort Worth show I'm going to.
