Hah, I posted on that thread, but your photos don't come through for me on my Mac.
We live in PDX and spend a decent amount of time on the coast. You've covered a lot! I recognize Haystack, Ecola Point, the elk in Cannon, Yaquina Head lighthouse and Florence sea lions.
If you haven't, and for your next visit: Oswald West/Smugglers Cove and Sam Boardman Natural Arches are the crown gems of the coast. For Sam Boardman, it's far enough south to add the Redwoods. You can see some of the best old growth in the PNW: Oregon and California.

But if the weather is great the traffic is terrible.

This! Oregon coast in general gets totally mobbed (by tourists) during the summer. From Bandon Dunes all the way to Astoria (and through Bellingham)AlaskanAg99 said:
I love Astoria. In the summer its an absolute tourist mob. If you want to go and dont want to deal with mobs, arrive on a Sunday and hangout for a few days. Beware, "Coastie Time" is a real thing and if there are places you want to go make sure theyre actually open.
Was there last summer and wife and I had a vrbo just north of Fort George Brewing. Everything is walkable.
Also a great tiki bar, lots of breweries and restaurants.
Didn't do the maritime museum and we commented we need to do that next time. I have a lot of friends in PDX and always jealous when they pop out to the coast. But if the weather is great the traffic is terrible.
