Also does Gilligan have some connection to ABQ? Or did he just choose it for Breaking Bad because of the cartel stuff, and decided to keep it going with this show?

Breaking Bad was originally set in California (Riverside, to be exact). They then changed the setting in favor of New Mexico's tax breaks. Gilligan said on a recent podcast I heard that he chose Albuquerque again for Pluribus simply because he wanted to work with the same crew/all of his friends in the area again. There's a whole studio there now, and along with it an entire local film and TV industry. On Pluribus it's basically much of the same crew, creatives, directors, etc who made Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul.

Clearly a Vince Gilligan show, and I love it. Breaking bad started off fairly slow, too, but I'm loving it so far.

I've never seen Breaking Bad so I'm new to Vince Gilligan except for the X Files episodes previously mentioned which I do not remember anymore.

So was the sodium thiopental a direct cause of Zosia's cardiac arrest or did it cause her consciousness to separate from the collective which resulted is the cardiac arrest? I know that's a little bit of a chicken or the egg type question but I was curious what everyone thought.

/edit: or was it a result of the stress from her not being able to lie and resisting from answering the question?

I think it was a combo of things. Too big a dose (that syringe was full to the brim), she was already not well from the injury, the stress of fighting the questioning. I don't think she was separating from the others during it.

Two big revelations: It can be undone, otherwise what's the point? And maybe she's found a way to separate one of the collective. Did the others start appearing because that was starting to happen or because she was in physical danger?

It's clear now that all of them are one: the same mind, the same personality, all of it. If she's talking to one, she's talking to all. She could literally leave a conversation with one and continue with another.

I haven't seen every episode of Breaking Bad (watched up to S4E4 and the final four or five episodes) and haven't seen any of Better Call Saul besides a few scenes on YouTube.

The topic of this show interests me more than the other shows.

True Detective is in my queue to watch though. If I listed all of the other popular shows this board likes, you would think I'm the King of Trolls.
