Take it to the politics forum. With that said, no they didn't. If someone tries to run me over, they're getting shot. And it isn't murder.

You would think the Somali fraud and Tampon Tim would provide some excellent story lines

Or just...Somalis.

This guy is a prominent politician there. Do a joke along the lines of "i'm the daycare manager now" or something. Or poke fun at the rampant inbreeding in the culture (sorry, this is FACT). Boom...easy.

South Park used to be edgy and almost nothing was off limits. My wife is Asian and she would laugh at them making fun of Asians. But they only seem to make fun of people who are peaceful/pushovers. Come on, make fun or Muhammad. Have they ever done that?

They made fun of Mohammad but IIRC they wouldn't show him and the character had a big black Censored rectangle over it

Matt and Trey drew Mo. uncensored a couple of times. He was in season 5 and some of the opening scene with Primus playing.

It was Comedy Central that censored Mo. in season 10 Cartoon Wars. Matt and Trey had the plot of season 14/episodes 200 & 201 revolve around the censorship of Mo., and Comedy Central went so far as to bleep the entire ending monologue from Kyle.

Matt/Trey got tired of South Park 15 years ago and quit trying for the most part. They've admitted as much in interviews and documentaries but kept milking the cash cow as long as they could, even if episodes were rushed and the writing was sub-par. It was actually on-brand for them, like they were getting an easy payday and sticking it to the corporations without trying so it worked pretty well.

I think that's the truth and the most common view. They were spreading their wings with Spamalot and getting praise for doing creative work outside of SP. But if Paramount is going to keep throwing hundreds of millions of dollars at you to mail it in, it's hard to blame them for mailing it in.

Pretty sure the last time I heard anyone in real life referencing "new" South Park material was when Memberries were introduced, and that was in 2016.

ORLY???

Shooting someone gunning their car at you (an officer) as you are trying to arrest or detain them for unlawful activity is "murder" now?

Nah...I have always known not to do something like that...because it is wrong, and because you can bet your ass it's an easy way to EARN a couple bullets through the windshield.

These agents are constantly facing violent attacks. All from one side.

Mmm boots taste good

you loved these

Good grief.

Despite the triple strength thread derail… South Park needs work. EVERYTHING is on the table - that's comedy. And yes there is SO much to work with going forward.

They have been off this season, period. I'm quite conservative and I say go after Trump and MAGA to the funniest extent possible. They just haven't been good this season.
