I will never understand those who get bothered by conservatives being annoyed by Entertainment awards shows being hijacked by self-worhiping political zealots pretending really hard to be "caring" and "righteous".
This is my biggest point.
Standard TexAgs ET thread:
1. Entertainment event happens (award show, movie, TV show, etc).
2. That same event is blatantly or overwhelmingly pushing a leftist narrative or political ideology.
3. Center-right through right-wing posters on TexAgs respond to what was said or being pushed, calling it out and reminiscing of a time when it wasn't so overwhelming.
4. Center-left and left-wing posters on TexAgs accuse those other posters of being obsessed with politics and ultimately turn to ad hominem attacks.
Why are we the crazies for not wanting politics in our entertainment? Then you have goofballs like cajunaggie pointing to Fox news and the Patriot awards. The reason the left does this is because they can't understand the concept of simply wanting to enjoy entertainment without always pushing "The Message".
Whereas, people like me, don't want overtly conservative messaging pushed, either. Most of us just want that crap gone. But the left owns Hollywood and it is filled with group think and meaningless virtue signaling.
