Yeah, that was heavy cringe, especially with a spectator.

Another interesting thing is that the Head Umpire kid obviously has a crush on Carol.

Is this show worth the time? I watched episode 1 but haven't made the time to keep going.

Not only is it dragging, but some of the scenes and dialog are ridiculous.
I do think thats largely the point tho

Carol, Clark, and Floyd are the only ones who know that too much Amphezyne will kill Floyd.
The last episode certainly would try and lead you to predict that Floyd kills himself. He tries to reconnect with his wife and she cant do it anymore and he cant even find a guy to get full-on and think he's attractive so he knows his future is destined to be one of loneliness. He also knows he has life insurance and wants Carol and Clark to be happy.
I'm sure that's not what happens, and cant wait to see what the twist is.

LOL
we are discussing a SERIES which is made up in some writer's head where he writes dialogue.
then people watching are like: "but the dialogue is taking too long and not enough things are happening to amuse me!"
Uh, THAT IS THE ENTIRE POINT TO THE SERIES

Fat suit. Which Jesse Plemons learned the hard way is the best way to go. He gained a bunch of weight for Black Mass and couldn't lose for 8-9 years, which impacted what roles he was getting (or not getting)

the ultimate irony of course is that David Harbour in real life is an attractive guy who has been with smokeshows
so I am not going to cry for his sad fate!

That "dance" stuff was just agonizingly long and cringey.

Harbour also cheated on her/asked for an open relationship, and she went on to eviscerate him on her latest album. Then there was his weird drama/beef with Millie Bobbie Brown during/after the final season of Stranger Things. As much as I like him as an actor, he unfortunately doesn't seem like the best dude off camera.
