I guess it's dragging if you were looking for the conclusion to who done it, but we had the body in episode one. It's a dark comedy about love, human connection, betrayal, trust, confidence, friendship. The different love angles have sent me for a loop and I've lol'd nearly every episode.

The police now know that Carol has committed another crime, but no one mentioned it.
I recall that she walks in on her son who is crying because with Floyd dead, money is going to be an issue.
The two of them have faced this prospect in the past, apparently. Carol says something to the effect that she will always find a way to make money.
I wonder if her past conviction is for being a sex worker.

I just dont see how that would be relevant to the story with only 1 episode to go.
Cant wait to see this finale because its going to be something from far out of left field. the story will suck overall if it doesnt. And Bateman and HBO usually dont sign up for bad shows. Im hopeful the finale is great.

I don't know if it'll be about her being a sex worker, but they had a scene related to her criminal history this last week so I assume it's going to be vital to this last episode. The thing I've noticed is that every one of the past few weeks has made it seem like someone else did it, only for the next episode to change that. Obviously there's been the constant thought of Bateman's character, then two weeks ago it seemed like his wife did it, then this week it seemed like it was a suicide.
I think there's a final twist - my guess is that the son did it. The series started with a scene between the two where Floyd was trying to be a father figure but the son wasn't about it. There have been plenty of scenes to show how off the son is, we don't know why. But finally they had a bonding moment, which we have seen again here and there. Seemed like he finally saw Floyd as a father figure. Then in this latest episode during the interrogation with the lawyer, Bateman said the reason he didn't share further is because Floyd wouldn't want the son to be hurt. I bet the son somehow finds out about their awkward ******* situation and kills Floyd. And I'm guessing that the wife's criminal history has something to do with protecting her son.

That's certainly plausible.

He tries to reconnect with his wife and she cant do it anymore and he cant even find a guy to get full-on and think he's attractive so he knows his future is destined to be one of loneliness. He also knows he has life insurance and wants Carol and Clark to be happy.

the ultimate irony of course is that David Harbour in real life is an attractive guy who has been with smokeshows

Fat suit. Which Jesse Plemons learned the hard way is the best way to go. He gained a bunch of weight for Black Mass and couldn't lose for 8-9 years, which impacted what roles he was getting (or not getting)

Harbour also cheated on her/asked for an open relationship, and she went on to eviscerate him on her latest album. Then there was his weird drama/beef with Millie Bobbie Brown during/after the final season of Stranger Things. As much as I like him as an actor, he unfortunately doesn't seem like the best dude off camera.
He was fat in many roles because he got fat for Black Mass in 2015 and didn't lose weight until the glp1's the past couple of years. So he spent 8-9 years fat in every role
Yeah I kind of like it for the kitchy dialogue. There are so many odd phrasings that are often repeated -- i kind of dig it.
Carol's "Could you speak up" (drop the **** and tell me what you are implying),
"buying plates and bowls for the household"
"sand time" referring to a turn at Hedbanz
the use of "powerhouse" as a verb for aggressiveness (who says that?)
Carol always scoffing and ending a conversation with "Wow."

I kind of like it. There's a lot of symbolism in this show too. Clark has Floyd help him move the swingset into a questionable place so he can check out his younger neighbor doing yoga, and the obvious discussion about the DTF St Louis app on the swingset while they were "swinging". Hedbanz itself and the "I have to guess who I am based on clues that are obvious to you" kind of thing. Carol's impossibly large umpire gear, which sets a physical distance between her and Floyd as well as metaphorically because he couldn't provide...

Clark's wife has been suspiciously absent from 95% of this show, as were his two daughters. Just saying...the last episode could be from her POV. Maybe she discovers DTF St Louis, Carol, or just Tiger Tiger and somehow gets wound up in all of this.

This show is literally why Taylor Sheridan is the hottest thing in the entertainment industry. For good or bad or indifferent.
We only tuned in for the cast. In particular Bateman.
LMAO. Just another sh** show ending ala just about every series HBO/Netflix/Prime puts out.
This series is terrible. I was hooked by the first two episodes but I'll never recommend this series to anyone.

Yeah, I hit the FF a few different times in this episode, including that scene. I was done with this thing other than, given the time I invested for 6 episodes, I just wanted to see how he died.

I mean, she herself is a well-documented cheater that also wanted an "open marriage" with Harbour. Then acts outraged when an "open marriage" goes wrong? Cry me a river on her behalf as well.
As for the MBB issue....while no one has come out and said exactly what MBB's complaint was, she herself even implied that the media frenzy about it all was way-overdone.

Yeah that was very unsatisfying. The actors were great, the production was good, but the tone was inconsistent and never crystallized into a clear vision and the plot ended up being a yawner.
the whole thing felt like an elaborate experiment to see how long they could get people to watch that garbage.
From the way Bateman kept withholding information, to the wife being so fearful of her toilet paper shoplifting charge showing up (to name a few).
Just nonsense plot points all around.
