You guys really need to understand what it means to "bash" an organization. Geez, anything that resembles criticism is bashing to you loyal die-hards.

Yes, and anyone who wants to see the leadership of Student Bonfire in action (and help build Bonfire) is welcome to come out to First Cut in September and see for yourself. I guarantee they will be representing SB well and will not insult or degrade anyone for asking questions.

opie, obviously you are confused. Those comments were meant to inspire debate and discussion in order to improve an infant organization. Remember, I live with someone important and know more than you. Plus as an outsider I have a better impression of the general public feelings. You shouldn't turn a cold shoulder to all of my discussions. I mean well by all that I say.

As a proud Aggie Bonfire Brownpot from 2005, accept my most humble of apologies. It seems that some individuals see their leadership positions in bonfire as a position of power instead of a position of service. This has been shown time and again over the past few years. To the individuals I'm talking about, you should be ashamed. Stop taking this hallowed tradition and turning it into your own quest for personal gain or popularity. Nobody at bonfire will care who you are in 5 years...or even 1. The only reason you should ever be remembered is by the name on the side of a pot. Too many people have sacrificed too much for you to be cocky and arrogant about your position. Last time I checked, we do this for the love of the fire.
