The Kerlee's are absolutely special people. I saw them on Friday at the Mom's Club Boutique very patiently explaining the process of electing the Aggie Parent's of the Year and telling her about Tim, asking her to visit the Bonfire Memorial to read all their stories. I've met them a few other times - they amaze me every time I see them.
12 was for a reason.

Stopped by this thread to look at the photo on page 1 again. I was a student when Bonfire fell and I remember that next day so very clearly.

I don't know if I can add anything about Tim that hasn't already been said in this thread. We went to middle school and were Troop 27 Puddlejumpers together; Tim pushed me to get my Eagle Scout after he attained the rank at ridiculous age of 13. His Eagle Scout project was creating and co-ordinating a Health and Safety Fair at the middle school - an enormous project that most of us wouldn't be able to do even as adults. The things that he accomplished even as a middle schooler and the way that he inspired his classmates and friends to outdo themselves was just remarkable. He was an amazing student, Scout, and friend, and the world is still incomplete without him even 10 years removed from the accident. That's not nearly enough to do him justice, but then again, I don't know what words would be.
I do know that this thread is simply amazing. I happened upon it after a mutual friend mentioned that a scholarship had been established in his name. To see Janice and Tim posting on here is an inspiration, and one of the many lights to help us through the darkness of this tragedy.
